Founded in 1997 by Jack Bradford, The Boudinot Agency is a multifaceted preservation, security, historical research and investigation firm dedicated to serving libraries, museums and personal collectors who need security and preservation services from experienced professionals.
We provide libraries and museums with advanced security systems that allow facilities to constantly monitor their assets both on display and in archives. The Boudinot Agency prides itself in being one of the leading firms offering security systems that integrate the ability to monitor environmental factors affecting the preservation of art, artifacts, documents and other sensitive valuables. We offer the same services for private collectors and galleries and always custom tailor each system for the clients specific security needs.
The agency also offers document analysis, historical research and investigation for institutions and individuals. We offer background information and authentication for photographs, art prints, letters, books, and other paper-based documents. We keep an archive of original reference materials that allow for quick cross-referencing. Our historical research and investigation is a natural extension of the preservation and analysis that we offer. We research family trees, individual personages, original home sites, grave sites, births, deaths, marriages, deeds and information related to buildings and structures. In addition we can provide limited private investigation work to locate the whereabouts and activites of persons in question.
Jack Bradford is a direct descendant of the Boudinot Family line. The Agency is named for Elias Boudinot (1740 -1821) who was among other things a silversmith, Colonel in the Continental Army, President of the Continental Congress, spymaster under General George Washington, attorney, Director of the U.S. Mint, author and the first President of the American Bible Society.
